Reminder: Lunch 2.0 @ Powerset tomorrow
“Hey, I finally met the CEO of Powerset the other day.”
“Powerset? They’re like that Google killer that’s supposed to be using Natural Language Processing. Who’s their CEO again?”
“Barney Pell. They’re going to have a Lunch 2.0 tomorrow at their offices in SOMA and demo Powerset Labs.”
“Cool. I missed them at SFBeta.” *click click* “Damn, it’s filled up! And Powerset looks so cool (despite the fact they use Ruby).”
“Don’t worry, just go anyway, it’s not like half those people who RSVP’d in the city will remember to show. Besides, Barney is just like a cooler Jeff Bezos—there is no way he’s going to turn you away at the door.”
“Sounds like a plan!”
Just a quick reminder that Lunch 2.0 is at Powerset tomorrow (Thursday). They’re serving BBQ with vegetarian options, demoing their search product which uses Natural Language Processing to do searching and mashups.
Or is it Natural Lunch Processing?
See you all there!

(Oh c’mon don’t tell me that wasn’t the first thing that crossed your mind when you met Barney, you hypocrites!
