This weekend the crew will be in San Francisco and Andrew would like us to know the Lunch 2.0 crowd is invited—it’s a free event! :-D

AI of Borg says SF will be lunch-ssimilated 2.0: Lunch 2.0 @ Microsoft in San Francisco

Filed under: San Francisco, announcement, lunch 2.0, microsoft — tychay @ 9:57 am

Anand Iyer points out that it’s been a while since we’ve been lunch-ssimilated (and enjoyed it).

Did you know that Microsoft had an office in the city? Join “AI” and the rest of the Microsoft Evangelism team for Lunch 2.0 at One Market Street!

Location: Microsoft San Francisco
Address: The Landmark at 1 Market Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, 94105
Date: Tuesday, July 24, 2007, noon-2PM
RSVP on upcoming

Hmm, Tagged used to have offices at the Landmark. If they really wanted to convince us that Microsoft isn’t the evil borg collective, they should see if One Market Restaurant caters. :-D

Due to a surreptitious order of the regeneration command, the drones at Microsoft SF went to sleep, and someone snuck in an reservation for one of the common rooms on Lunch 2.0 day. Because of that, space is limited to only 65 peeps. So, be sure to RSVP on upcoming and sign up while you can.

Lunch 2.0 @ MSFT

Filed under: food, lunch 2.0, microsoft, pictures — markjen @ 10:47 am

We had great weather for the Lunch 2.0 at Microsoft’s Silicon Valley Campus yesterday. Bubba and Dennis helped get everyone checked in and even got our lunch paid for (for those of you who didn’t come becuase lunch wasn’t free you missed out! :P ). All these company cafeterias are starting to look the same, but here’s what the MSFT cafe in SVC Building 1 looks like:

We had quite a showing, at least 20 or so people from lots of different companies: Jajah, Yahoo, Roxio, knowesys, and slipabuck.com just to name a few :)

After lunch, Bubba took us around for a tour of the campus. It was opened in 2000 and is really nice (the weather probably made it even nicer); Bubba says if you want to experience the nice campus on a daily basis, let him know - they got plenty of job openings right now :)

Thanks for hosting Bubba, Dennis, Anand, and Natala!

Mark your calendars!
