LA did its Lunch 2.0 @ Business.com today. You can see all the pictures I took in my Flickr set, but I thought I’d add some notes to a few to give you some context.

I think we had over 250 people show up. Most LA Internet companies don’t have enough space to host crowds this big. I think we’re going to have to cap the guest list in the future. (Hey Yahoo, I heard you have some space down here. How about holding a Lunch 2.0 at your Santa Monica or Burbank office soon?)

One of the reasons we’re getting so big is that once one person in a company comes to a Lunch 2.0, others from the company hear about it and start going to future events. I’m starting to see more and more people from MTV, like these two women…

…and Mahalo’s office must have cleared out today. I think I saw over a dozen people from their company. Here’s their CEO, Jason Calacanis, who even brought his two dogs. (Thank you Mark Jeffery from spreading the word at Mahalo.)

Most people come to Lunch 2.0 to make new connections, but these three old friends reconnected after years of not seeing each other.

Soon, I’ll post an invitation to the next Los Angeles Lunch 2.0. Until then I want to thank Nicole Jordon, Steve Morin, and Sonya Bhatia Patel for co-hosting with me (Andrew Warner). Thank you to everyone who reads this blog and invites their LA contacts to our events. And thank you Genevieve Crawford of business.com!
