Hi Lunch 2.0ers! Anand, our friend over at Microsoft, has passed us a registration code good for up to 300 RSVPs for Microsoft’s Halo 3 pre-launch party on 9/24!

    :) We thought hard between setting up a classic Microsoft registration site (with live-id which would require you to input everything about your life), but we decided against it to make it extremely simple. Credit goes to Jason Mauer who did all the work, btw.

    Also, please see http://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx (the link shows up once you have signed in/registered) if you are genuinely concerned about privacy and/or your email address.

    Posting from the event right now. I must say that Microsoft really did a kickass job on this. Lots of free swag, great food, opportunity for everyone to participate in the tournament, lots of people that allowed us to ask questions and get information about products, etc. Well done.
