Live Lunch and Prosper: Lunch 2.0 @ Spock

Filed under: Silicon Valley, Spock, announcement, eateries, lunch 2.0 — tychay @ 5:47 pm

Spock BetaHey all, Spock in Redwood City is very excited to host us for the next Lunch 2.0!

Spock is a cutting-edge consumer Internet startup helping users find and discover people. With over one hundred million people already indexed and millions added everyday, Spock is building the broadest and deepest people specific search engine that is already being hailed as one of the hottest start-ups in Silicon Valley. While only launching a few days ago, Spock has already been named one of the top 25 new websites to watch by PC World, been covered in the press by Businessweek, The Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, and on national TV.

Spock has received over $8 million in investments to date from Clearstone Venture Partners and Opus Capital Ventures.

That’s how the rest of the world knows Spock.

But to us in the Valley, Spock is totally kick ass. (Yes, we’re a little bit jealous.) :-D

Spocking Mark Jen

Hosts: Spock
Address: Suite 150 1450 Veterans Blvd. Suite 150 Redwood City, CA
Date: Wednesday, August 22, 2007, 12-1:30pm

Personally, I’m going to get the “in” with the engineers and figure out why I haven’t been tagged “cheapskate” yet. So come to Lunch 2.0 at Spock and talk about the hottest vertical search in the Valley over free food.

Be sure to RSVP so they get an accurate headcount and don’t run out of food!
