Lunch 2.0 in Germany - An Abstract

Filed under: Germany, lunch 2.0 — TimoHeuer @ 12:07 am

Hello guys. My name is Timo Heuer, I am a German guy who read this posting on Tim Bonnemann’s blog and was immediately fascinated with the idea of Lunch 2.0. So I decided to tell Sarik Weber and he answered: “Let’s do it in Germany, too.”

The next days I contacted Mark and asked him if we could do it. First Lunch 2.0 in Germany (Mark wrote about it) took place May, 29th at Cellity AG in Hamburg. We hadn’t even done the first Lunch 2.0 when Torsten Oppermann wrote me an email and asked whether Indigo Pearl GmbH could be the sponsor of the second Lunch 2.0! I agreed and they did it June, 28th again in Hamburg. We don’t want to be focused on Hamburg. Maybe a sponsor in Cologne would be good for the July one. (We haven’t find a sponsor yet!)

But we’ve already found a sponsor for Lunch 2.0 in August! We’ll be having a BBQ in Hamburg sponsored by more than one firm. We haven’t find a date yet, but they are still 13 interested people.

The previous two Lunch 2.0 was attended by VCs, Web Designers, Web Developers, Bloggers, Podcasters, Social/New Media specialists, Founders, SEOs, Entrepreneurs and Authors. So everyone told me it’s been a cool thing to network and to get to know new people.

We’re always looking for sponsors in Germany. Interested people and companies can reach me at mail(at)timoheuer(dot)com. Thank you!
