Two videos (and a reminder)

Our first Lunch 2.0 in San Francisco was great! Check out this video created by the JumpCut folks, over the internet, right in front of us, during the lunch.

Be sure to click on the “Remix” button at the end of the video—it’s like iMovie in your web browser. You can create a pretty impressive vide with this, even though it’s a little wonky in Safari. (Remember to check the “Add” tab where you can pull stuff tagged “lunch20″ from all of JumpCut.

Speaking of pretty impressive, check out this video created by PodTech about the NETGEAR Lunch 2.0. (Disclaimer: NETGEAR is a client of PodTech.)

It starts with the founders of Lunch 2.0 talking about how it all started, a tour of the NETGEAR event itself, and why NETGEAR hosted one. It looks so geek cool, I wish I was there… Oh wait!

Hmm, if you want to taste the buzz it’s not to late to go to the one at SimplyHired today in MountainView. Maybe you can grab a bunch of extra food for your buddies standing in line at Apple Store Palo Alto.

  1. Lunch2.0 at Simply Hired « Just Another Digerati Wannabe Says:

[...] Lunch2.0 at Simply Hired I got there late, but I made it in line. No, not the iPhone line in Palo Alto. The Butter Chicken, Samosa and Naan line at Simply Hired’s Lunch2.0 event. Met a few new people and caught up with a few familiar faces. Had to avoid certain people because I saw them reloading their Simply Hired water gun.But d’oh I am back in my iPhone fever again so I can’t write a coherent post…so I’m just going to make a list. Why Simply Hired is my most best Lunch2.0 yet. 1) I got lost on my way there. I drove around Google Country back and forth on Charleston Road for heaven knows how long before I finally pulled over and consulted Google Maps which told me that Simply Hired was on the other Charleston Road.2) For 35 minutes while looking for Simply Hired, I was not thinking about the iPhone.3) I met a few new people who aren’t really new we were just never really introduced.4) Someone approached me with a Lunch2.0 Moo Card and asked “is this you?” That made me feel special.5) I learned how to make a tie-dye shirt. Step #1: soak it in water first. Very important. I ruined a perfectly good Simply Hired shirt because I skipped this step.6) I learned the rules of Four Square. Holly Liu and Michael Li were kind enough to explain it to me. [...]
